Have you rubbed your scalp properly?

Try washing your hair two times.

Also, make sure the shampoo you use suits you.

Also, you should use Head and Shoulders at last once a week. Make sure you massage your scalp thoroughly when shampooing.

Also, I've heard from word of mouth that if you use gel a lot, where it is in direct contact with your scalp a lot of times, you're more prone to get dandruff.

i've had dandruff since i was a little kid [it even got super super severe at one point to where i was bleeding]. dandruff isnt all that rare and its usually caused by chemicals products used on hair, genetics, and/or oily scalp [rarely dry scalp]. so if you dye your hair a lot or get it permed, you might wanna stop.

what i did to get rid of mine is just completely stop touching it. i dont scratch it, brush it with a comb, or anything. not even in the shower. in the shower i use head and shoulders but i dont scratch my scalp with pressure. just light circular rubs with the tip of my fingers around my scalp. instead of brushing with combs against my scalp, i use my fingers and try avoiding rubbing my scalp.

dandruf shampoo alone wont do much for your hair. even right after you get out of the showers or when it dries you're able to instantly see the flakes come back. just try to avoid touching your scalp at all times. i rarely see flakes in my hair anymore but i still dont really touch my scalp and i still use head & shoulders

What you can try is while rinsing shampooed hair, take a comb and brush your hair. This works best if you have a fountain head and you let the water run on your head. If you let the comb teeth brush against your scalp it will greatly decrease dandruff after your hair gets dried. Be sure to get rid of any knots in your hair by coming it through wihile water drips on it. This works for me and you can see the difference after just one wash too. Also use dandruff targeting shampooes like Head & Shoulders and Selsun Blue.

Try this lovely stuff! [click]

Comes in a variety of flavors :) Try using it once a day if it's really bad. If it still doesn't go away, go to a dermatologist. They have prescriptions that will make it go away.
