I used to read anime fanfictions in like, seventh grade. My friend and I used to write them too for fun. I don't really do so anymore of either.

Haha..yeahh. I go to fanfiction.net. I also go to fictionpress (where you write your OWN story, and put it online). I don't go on them a lot though...maybe once in awhile when I'm bored. I just posted a story up yesterday on fanfiction.net.....so far...I only have two reviews. >.<

Aah, fictionpress is huge! I feel bad because there's a lot of stories that go unreviewed (like mine >.<)

And the only slang I know for fanfiction is OOC = out of character. XD

I read Inuyasha fanfics. The dark & deep ones. War and such. It's pretty good. xD Depends on the person, really.

Yeah. The only fanfics I've ever read were BtVS ones, though. I actually even write some fanfic. It's not immature, depending on why you write it. Some people just write to live out some weird plot or sexual fantasy of theirs. Others write it because they love the characters. It's kind of an outlet,... you have characters that you love (even if you didn't develop them) and you put them in different situations or put them in an entirely different world, etc. As a writer, I think it's a little bit limiting because you're using pre-made characters, but whatever.

I've turned a lot of my fanfics into original fics, because I've found that the more you write, the further away you drift from the famous character that everyone knows and the more you start creating an original personality that you make for the character.
