I think there should be a cB marketplace/hook up forum. Where users can sell things here. Hook Ups for coupons. It wouldn't quite be considered advertising. I've seen many forum sites with these. Like for example if someone sells a pair of sneakers...he/she would create a thread called
[FS] nike low white af1's $78 blah blah Please..there should be one. what do you guys think? |

Yes tons of sense. |

I think it's a good idea, actually. I mean, there are some cons, but this could kindof.. be helpful for those who wouldn't pay money to put their items for sale on eBay.
CON: Security.. selling something to someone online personally.. having their address, if they say they're gonna send it, and don't, the payer can't do anything about it since they paid already, unless they take it to extreme measures. |

I think there'd be too much overhead for cB's admin in terms of payment options, preventing fraud, etc. Besides, the focus of cB is on blog/webpage design, not selling stuff. There's eBay for that purpose.

ebay.com
craigslist.com niketalk.com instyleshoes.com howardforums.com sell.com buysell.com etc etc etc cb doesnt need that shit most of the members here are 12 - 14 meaning they dont have a CC or paypal or dont know howt o get a money order just like you kangsta, who still has to send cash in an envelope, this forum isnt ready for a marketplace.. this is createblog were people go to get layouts and scripts.. usually when an online forum has a "marketplace" they sell stuff RELEVANT to their forum. for example a cell phone forum will sell unlocked cellphones. a shoe forum will sell shoes. a trading card forum might sell trading cards. in createblog we will sell layouts? bad idea peace |

If we did this, and a cBer was determined enough, they could sue us. Yea...this is a definite no.
