firefox & internet explorer, and some other things... Options

Okay, so I know that firefox & IE aren't very compatible in some areas, but I just can't seem to figure out the problems that are occuring?

1) In firefox, if I try to link an image in the "heroes" section, it messes up my lef tables, but it works fine on IE.
2) In IE, a strange pink box shows up where the "extended network" banner should be, but on firefox, it works fine.
3) Images like the online sign/contact table doesn't show up on firefox, but they show up on IE just fine.


I have too many problems & I sincerely do not have a clue on how to fix it. Please help the poor asian out... anybody? anybody? If it's of any help, here's the code I used.
