is there any different AIM servers besides the defualt one login.oscar.aol.com port: 5190?

There used to be, but to my knowledge, none work anymore—although you could do a Google search and see what comes up.
You used to be able to connect to the ICQ server, but I don't know if that technique works anymore, and I don't remember the address and port (but Google might help). |

i think the aol server is different from the aim server <-- im mean they are sponsored by the same company (aol), but i was just on my friends computer and the server isn't on login.oscar.aol.com port: 5190. i don't know what it was on tho.
