So I went to this website and got a great hit counter
http://www.statcounter.com/ The way to place it on your page is in an img tag. So I did this on my blog, and i was able to use it on there But then I try to put it on my actual PROFILE and myspace eats the code. I guess because it doesn't end in .jpg or .gif.... It eats it and just puts ".." Which is really annoying... So is there anyway I figure out to place my code on there and find out who's lookin at my page and not just my blog? I tried putting the img tag in an overlay even and myspace still munched it. It's a normal <img src=""> tag, it just does not have the img file extensions because it's actually a counter. if anyone has any ideas i'd appreciate it. |

myspace has strange filters. scripts are stripped out. images are allowed, unless they don’t end in .gif, .png or .jpg (so my original image script broke because the url looked like /adopt/petimage.php?param=value. i had to change it to /adopt/petimage/encoded-params.png…). objects are not allowed. embeds are allowed
