To clarify the question: All the people are innocent good citizens who have not commited any crime. None of them are serial kills or stuff! |

Well, wow, that's one tough question. I don't think i can kill anyone...even if it'll save lives...i'm selfish i know.

i don't know..it depends.
would the 3 people be "bad" people? then i would, but only if the 10 people were "good" people. it's a really tough question.... would i kill 3 innocent people to save the lives of my family and closest friends? i really can't decide... |

that reminds me of Vertical Limit in the beginning when the guy had to cut the rope and kill like 3 or 4 ppl, or else they'd all die.
i guess i would, this is one of those situations that you never know what you would really do until ur in it though. |

depends who was in each group. if the 3 ppl were important to me than no. if they weren't and some one in the larger group was, i would. if i didn't kno anyone in either group, i would. if i was in either group, then id save myself, no matter who was in the other group.

^ Yeah. It would depend on who the people I'd save and who the people I'd kill were. I probably would. It's pretty hard choosing between killing someone, even if it meant saving everyone else.

I really wouldn't want to kill innocent people.
 But if these people are bad people than I would surely do it because it serves a greater cause! This question seems a little unfair anyways why would you need to kill 3 to save 10 it just doesn't make sense?
