cutenews-chmod-ftp programs? |

Ok, well I just got this program called smartftp and I was going to use it to chmod the files for cutenews. Well I'm not sure If its the ftp program or I'm just not doing something correct but everytime I try to CHMOD a file the ftp program says that It didnt work. I have tried numerous amounts of ftp programs and those were useless because they didn't have the chmoding feature. So does anybody know of any reliable ftp programs, or correct me If you think I might be doing something wrong.

Um smartftp does chmoding perfectly fine. I used to use it quite often. Are you sure your doing it right?
What did you do to do it? |
