Release
Lost, in a world - of Passions, Locked Away. So deep my soul cannot display. Torn, with desires - for Beauty, There construed. There - the heart is openly nude. Naked, with no masks - with Beatings, Now exposed. Embarassed at the conflict showed. Confused, with choices - in Mazes, So enshrined. Enclosed with no hope to survive. Distant, hope had seemed - from Far Lands, And a light. The Deliverer within sight. Found, in a world - of Passion, Now set free. My soul takes flight inside of me! |

Thanks - I wrote it for my layout... the poem is on there, slightly altered, but it really works. I'm in an artsy mood... REALLY ARTSY MOOD.

This absoloutly took my breath away.
Usually i pick a passage which is my favorite in someone's poem, but i loved the whole thing from beginning to end. You've got talent and have a unique way of writing. please post more! |
