Hiding friends list + comment scrollbox. Options

I'm trying to use this tutorial as well as this script. I've been using the first half of the tutorial (the code for the About Me section), but it left a large space at the top of the scrollbox. When I try to use the second part (for the Who I'd Like to Meet section), all comments are hidden. When I take out the DIV scrollbox, it works fine, but of course my page is a mile long. Is there a way to combine them?
