So I'm kinda upset that noone has voted for me when it seems to me that I have much more time devoted to the design of my blog than 95 percent of the people on this website.... Somebody at least give me feedback.

Here's just a little suggestion for everyone on the createblog forums. I don't know if you blogs look right on internet explorer, but on other browsers everything on a lot of your pages is misaligned, and messed up. I highly suggest testing your blogs on Firefox, and Netscape when you create them. Because I've noticed among the community here MOST people don't test their blogs very much... Also there are a few people that put animations all over their site and in every post which makes it take forever for your blog to load, and I have a fast computer and I'm on a T2 connection on the campus network at Indiana University.

Yeah, I know - I test it through Firefox and I know it's not perfect, but it's pretty good. A lot of the people just either don't know, don't care, or are too lazy.

^^
Actually it does. He was just pointing out people should make their blogs aligned in other browsers but if you click the link it's his xanga. Yeah anyways I like it a lot especially the navigation links at the top. Very nice job.

The reason I put that here is because It's xanga showcase, and I'm just letting people know their showcased sights are not showing up correctly for a good portion of the people that look at them

The only animation I have is the banner - and it loads fast on Pent. 3, Pent. 4, and dual processors. I used to have Pent. 2, and it loaded just fine. Sure it would take a while on a dial-up connection, but most connections can handle it.. that's the first complaint I've received so far.

Ooooo your icon bothers me.... guess I'm just not a blood/guts person. pinch.gif

Sure does... I know how to correct most of my page in Firefox - it just takes a lot fo time, and I'll do it on the next layout.

I really like it. I said that before in your earlier topic. IU rocks!

I can probably tell you why they didn't vote for you though. All sites here are classic accounts, so people are baised, and to tell you the truth, I don't think you are allowed to win that contest with a premium xanga. Now if it was a classic account, I'm sure you would've had votes.

You do know the only difference with premium is the banner ad, everything else can be done with coding.

Err... No. Because you can completely customize the head section in a xanga skin. It's almost exactly like having a blogger.
It's really drab, to be honest. Pretty&effected, but drab. Nothing grabs me about it, nothing makes me go "I want to become like that person." or "I admire that person." Like this design. Or even this. I think the problem I have with your layout is it tries to be simple, but it's far too effected to achive that. wink.gif

I really like it in terms of web design, especially the blogbody. The other graphics are okay, but definitely not the strength of the layout.

If you're a perfectionist, it's understandable if you spend hours working on and making little changes to your layout. A lot of us do that, too. It just may not seem like it.

This layout reminds me of Christina's, but yours is more dark.
I like everything about it.
