Hi. I just installed Wordpress with yahoo webhosting but when trying to install wordpress, it's asking me for a database name. Where would I find this info? I called yahoo but they just gave me an email address and said I had to email a certain department in Yahoo. I did so and still have yet to hear from them.
Also, I think with WORDPRESS you can make your own blog site but is there a way to add a comments section for your homepage? Not a separate blog page but a comments section for a specific page on your website? For example, if you enter www.paulhkim.com (my website) and go to the home page, you'll see a under construction picture. Is there a way that someone can post a comment to that picture or what I have up for that day? Thank you in advance! Ultra Noob |

For the second part :: Manual commenting.
[ http://haloscan.com/ ] For the first :: You need to create a mysql database. So you name it whatever you want, it just has to be there. I'm not sure if Yahoo! webhosting even has the ability to do that. |

So with haloscan, you have to have a blog publishing tool to work with?
Is there a way that I can copy and paste a certain code into my home page that will allow people to comment wherever I want them to? |

I said manual commenting for a reason....
![]() You choose manual commenting when you sign up and they explain the rest. |
