Guess Your Number, How do they do it? Options

Everytime I do it, sure enough it comes up with the number I picked. I've done this with symbols, and some where you don't even click on anything and they get it right. How do they know what you picked? I'm eager to know this secret.

in the first picture, there's 5 groups of 5 colored numbers. In the next picture, each number of the color group is placed in a different house. So when you tell it what color it is and which house it's in, they can figure it out. The rest of the questions are just to throw you off =P

Theres a trick like this with a deck of cards as well. They just separate each number into a diffrent group every time, and when you become specific enough, they find out your number. The rest of the questions are all bullshit.

We did this trick in class once, but in a slightly different way. The trick was way hard to explain.
But it got it right, however :D

Just pick a number, and then pick a color that isn't the same as your number. It can't get it right.
