Okay.

I have an image at the top of my myspace layout, and I want it centered.

Here's my code:

How do I get it centered?

is this for a div? if so just use a div to put the image in.
to just center and image you do align:center.
<img src=" " align=center> <- sometimes that works

I don't know if div positioning would work in my case.

Because, what I did was I deleted the banner up at the top and I'm putting an image of my own there instead.

err, well...we can't help you with it with those circumstances, but uhm, place it into a DIV, would be my advice.

A div doesn't work because it gets stuck in the "About Me" section.

I need it centered at the very top.

Since your using absolute positioning play with the coordinates untill it gets centered.

People have all different screen resolutions.

So, the coordinates may be fine on one person's computer, but on another's it may look off.

Because it looks fine on mine, but it probably looks really weird on someone else's because I have a very small screen resolution.

(And center tags won't work.)

If you use a div and you have correct coordinates and you did it correctly it will most likely work in all resolutions. take websites for example if you code your divs correctly and use the right codes they will be ok in all resolutions. Well not all but majority.
