I would never tell my mom, but I mean if you really REALLY want to, and you don't think she will ground you until you're 76, then you have to handle the situation with maturity. You have to speak calmly and be prepared for her to freak, just don't freak back. Stay calm, and she will react to you. Just be prepared for your whole family to know too though, like your dad, and if your siblings overhear. They might go tell other people...blah blah. You get the point.
