Niether.

Seriously, you are going to get yourself raped eventually with the insurance premiums and monthly payments. Especially for a beginning driver at your age.

Not a wise finanical and insurance decision. Don't be thick-headed, you will have to start-off with a -$10,000 beater.

I'd say TL, the G35 has slow acceleration. Plus the TL looks nicer.

rolleyes.gif No one has any common sense in here.

Let's be real guys. Is anyone aware about the expense of owning a $35,000 luxury for a young 17-year-old driver? Again, you could buy that Infiniti all you want, but are you willing to pay the $500 insurance premium plus the monthly depending on how much down payment you put down. Go ahead, you can work like three jobs just to pay that car off.

Or you can buy a old beater (though it does'nt have to be a complete POS), cheaper insurance, no monthly payments, and until you be a better driver, become financially stable with a better job, and work your ass-off until you can have that dream car of yours.

Common sense, dammit.

Bullshit. I've driven both cars and the G35 is definitely not slow. I prefer the G35 over the TL because it is rear-wheel-drive (the TL is front-wheel-drive), better suspension and handling, feels quicker, and it looks prettier on the outside. I only like the TL for its nice interior.

Wow! Someone who thinks like me! I'm starting off with a cheap car, because of the following:

-I don't want to crash an expensive car
-Too many jerks at my school who would key it
-I'm a poor little kid sad.gif

There you go. Good points right there.

High school parking lots are hell. You will run into a lot a jealous people who will key your car right down to the bare metal. True story with this kid I know back in high school who got a brand-new black IS300. The look of his face is priceless and he couldn't afford to get the panels repainted. And he had two entry-level jobs to go to after school to pay it off.

And when you wreck your car, there goes your insurance premium.

Get a Tank. Remodel it, strip its depleted uranium armor to avoid getting sick and tear out some of the unnecessary stuff. You can even put in leather seats if you want. You could sit three people very comfortably in a tank. And it's really hard to crash up a tank.

why is this topic back? I already bought the G35 and it eats TLs for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and sometimes snacks... when hungry.

I agree with the "Get what you want" vote. It's really your call.

EDIT: Seems like he got what he wanted. Good choice.
