I can buy into both perspectives. From a logical standpoint, one must be either atheist or theist, but I certainly believe there are a lot of people out there who are in between, not quite sure of either position. They might see how a god could exist, maybe even worship him at times, but not be completely sure--they might frequently switch back and forth. Although logically, I can see the argument that a person must be one or the other.

I was raised Catholic, but for right now I'm not sure what I am. I guess if I was positive that I believed in God I would be Agnostic, meaning that I believe there's no way you can prove he/she exists, even though Agnosticism isn't really a religion.

Well..
My mother's Lutheran. My father's Catholic. I'm going to convert to Judaism. I currently attend both of their churches. However, I don't do this by choice. I mostly go to my mother's Lutheran church, and I will be confirmed there next month. I don't consider myself a Christian, really, but I suppose I technically am. Once I'm confirmed, my parents are open to me doing whatever I'd like to do in regards to my religion, so I'm going to start the long but gratifying process of converting to Judaism. There you have it. |

Well, I don't really have a religion. I celebrate Christmas, Easter, and believe all of that stuff, but I don't go to church and ceremonies and stuff like that. I was raised to be a christian on my dad's side, but once my dad died I guess everyone else on that side of the family just gave up hope. I guess his ex-paramedic partner (whom I still see very often, we like to go shopping) is still trying to have me christian, whenever I see her on a Sunday morning we go to church. But my mom's side doesn't have a religion at all, so now the Christian side of me is kinda weening down, since the only time I see the dad's side of the family is when I see my grandma. Which I don't (by choice. muahaha) very often. I guess I would consider myself a semi-Christian.

I've grown up in a Christian/Baptist atmosphere... and my parents are both baptists. I also go to a Christian school. But, especially here lately, ive been doing alot of research on religion. As far as the old testement of the Bible goes, I agree with. I'm just not sure that the whole Jesus thing is true, and I dont agree with the Christian lifestyle. I seem to agree most with the Reform Judiasm faith.
