so, i just got a paid account in lj- but am having trouble with the coding as far as adding a song in the bg.

my guess would be:
it's not working because of the file not ending in .mp3 or a music extension? you need a directlink to it...and 'sendfile.com is just giving you a link to a page. the link is: http://www.sendmefile.com/get/e4d369f89eb6...8Reprise%29.wma but If they direct you to a page, make you wait 15 seconds to download, then I would think that they would disable directlinking.. my advice: find another music host. [or web host, like http://5gigs.com/] |

ok, so if i fix my link in the code- where exactly do i place it? do i put it somewhere between the { } after body???

You need to go down to where the body tags start, and underneath where you see <body> add <bgsound src="LINK">.
You can probably put it in the CSS, but I recommend doing it just like they have it on that page. ======================== When you're editing your page, are you actually editing your own style, or are you putting in overrides in the modify.bml page? You need to be creating your own style; you can still use Generator as a base to do this. The above code will go in the LASTN_PAGE part. |

If you have a paid account, take advantage of the fact that you can create your own style is s1, or theme in s2. You can basically create whatever you want with standard coding, instead of trying to override it through through moidfy journal page.
