So i decided to redesign my last div layout. It has the same glass idea, but there's different flash/after effects elements and a new blue-like background. Its not done yet, i still need to add a dynamic flash slideshow and friend browser in the middle. Oh yeah, and since Myspace was giving me trouble with the way I wanted my divs/tables, its redirected offsite(but works just the same-and faster because nothing's being hidden). Man i'm loving making layouts now! biggrin.gif

Roll your mouse over the linkbar.. wink.gif

Thanks everyone! happy.gif Still working on making that middle flash section. Oh ptownsilleskid, the best program to make flash is Flash (www.macromedia.com). I did the banner using After Effects 6.5.

Still working on it..the middle section is going to be the most complex by far. ptownsilleskid, if you have a hosted swf file somewhere, you can use div tags to place it on your page. for example-

if you have any questions you might want to look in the Help section here, or search.

Actually, I got tired of the layout and just made a new one. This one's 100% Flash. I'm very happy with the way it turned out!

^Hmm, that's what I was thinking..doesn't a myspace layout have to be on an actual myspace?

Nonetheless, I love what you created! Very, very original and the animation is wonderful. I'm also loving the navigation. Lovely flowers.gif

Well, yeah thats a good point. I was thinking that too. But you see almost every single person who has seen my profile thought it was on myspace. In fact I get people asking me "how did you hide the banner ad?" Also the reason why I have this on geocities is because it would have made a myspace profile with everything hidden- extremely slow and lag the already intensive flash. Having everything on a clean slate really speeds it up (no hiding a gajillion tables). But anyways, it is meant for myspace only; you'll notice that all of the links on the profile are for myspace alone.

I was hoping for a full tweaking of myspace code but instead it redirect to another site. ermm.gif

By all means, I would put this directly on myspace, but like I said it would lag waay too much. (i've tried it on a test profile, trust me it makes a difference.) And you'd be suprised, almost everyone who sees the profile won't notice its offsite.
