it's a race that we're all hoping to win .
we're boosted by lies and our own dirty sin .
we dont practice what we preach,
we dont watch our speech--
and we contradict the lessons we teach .
we're controlled by envy, hatred and lust,
we're greedy and needy and we've got no one to trust .
who cares about Good when pleasure is a must ?
we light a cigarette and watch it burn our soul,
our ignorance and shame digs a bottomless hole .
we continously break the hearts that we stole .
and we say that its Enlightenment that we seek,
when its really immorality that we speak .
we drink, and we look for any chance to hop under the sheets .
it's a race that we're all hoping to win .
and its a race that we'll finish, cuz we're doing all the right things .
we've cleared a one way path straight down to hell
we'll make it all the way there, i can already tell .
