a real one is all about our families tradition. it will be a sad day at my house if they ever go to wal mart and buy a fake one. picking out the tree is one of the funnest parts IMO and the smell is amazing. i dont think the pine needles are even that bad anyways, we have a wood floor and its nothing a broom or vaccuum cant take care of.

Yes, fake tree. -sigh- When I was younger we used to go out and pick our tree, but I guess some Christmas traditions fade with time.

that's a hard decision. by using fake ones, you save trees. however, real ones are so much prettier, and have that nice pine-y smell.

Fake. Real trees are really expensive here because Ikea imports them from gawd knows where.

Every year is different. The last two years we have had a fake one, but this year, we decided to get a real one. My mom loves real ones, adn so do I. One of her friends at work told her about a pretty inexpensive tree farm close by, so we are going to get one tomorrow. I hate fake trees, they just aren't the same.

I have always had real trees..but since last year my sister got really bad allergies so now we are using a fake tree. I don't personally care..we go out of town for xmas every year anyway.

Well, last year ours was fake. It took me an hour to put together the stupid thing. lol, so this year we are getting like a 4 ft real one. lol, yay i'll be taller then the christmas tree :)
