Favicon problem, plz help

can someone plz tell me the code for favicon....i gotta code from this site: http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=88115 but it doesn't work. this is what i put:

but it's not working, i also tried puttin it in between codes but it still won't work, SOMEONE PLZ HELP!

Basically, the favicon is the small 16x16 icon that you see in your browser's url box.

If you're using IE, you won't be able to see it. Favicons only show up on Netscape and Firefox (I don't know about Safari and Opera).

I'm not sure if this'll work, but it's different than yours.
Make sure you use Firefox.

Jon-kun... It says image/extension in the topic. Therefore it should be /ico. And yeah, favicons hate IE.

It's a browser and to me, it's much better than IE.
