'A girlfriend is the last thing I need.' was all that she heard. He walked away into the fog, leaving her speechless. There was silence, all but the slow puff of her breathing. She walked to the park to rid of her sorrows, only to find that he too had gone to the park to play soccor. Drenched with tears, the girl continued to walk. I don't know how, but their eyes met as the girl kept walking and as the boy went to make a shot. It was just for a split second, but that second seemed like Heaven. Her heart skipped a beat. He looked away and carried on with his goal. Her biggest fear...watching him laugh and smile, sitting next to a friend of hers. She was green with envy, oh how she wished that she was the one sitting next to him, smiling and enjoying the moment. She thought to herself, perhaps he doesn't love me anymore. Just the thought made her tear up. She went online that day, just as she signed on, the boy signed off. Her heart sank, as she watched from her chair. Suddenly, he signed back on, and the world seemed to have stopped. 'I'd rather not tell you, its not good news' replied her friend. She began to cry, wondering how she let him get away yet again. She wouldn't take it in, she's come to far to stop now. It had come to that point where she could not deny it she loved him--so very much.
