mixed emotions and mixed signals.., how to choose between two guys? Options

Im a freshman and just a few weeks ago, a senior guy asked me out. He was realli nice to me and everything, and he sounded like he was for real, so I told him yes.
A few hours later, I told him i dunno anymore b/c many people were pressuring me not to go out with him. They told me that the onlie reason why he even asked me out is b/c hes a senior and he is desperately wanting a gf. Which, makes lotta sense logically. Everyone was telling me I shouldn't. And I wasn't sure if he just wants a gf or does he realli like me, and besides, hes a senior and im a freshman.. its just odd. So i told him maybe we should stay friends for now. And he was very cool about it.
But lately ive been getting this feeling that he is ignoring me. And Id sometimes see him hanging out with this girl and they seem quite close. And thats when I suddenly realized "crap, I realli do like him!"
So I as realli depressed that day, I couldnt concentrate in class or anything.. at all. Then this is where the second guy comes into place. [same age as me]
Ive known him ever since 6th grade, he was mean to me back in 8th grade, but by the end of the year he was realli nice to me. And for a period of time I had quite strong feelings about him, and Im pretty sure he likes me too, but both of us were too shy to make the move. So nothing happened between us. Over time, my feeling for him faded away, the feelings for the senior slowly replace its place. like wat I was saying, I was realli depressed and I almost cried. The second guy canceled his plans and afterschool calsses with me to cheer me up, which is realli sweet and it worked! I hung out with him that whole day, and we bumped into the senior for quite a few time. And the odd thing is, after the senior saw me with that guy ive known for 3 years, he started talking to me and following me around.
And just recently, the guy ive known for 3 years asked me out. I dont know wat to do.
Both of them are sweet and nice, and I know that the guy my own age, and he seems to have a better history than the senior. [u know how the senior sortta go for other girls after I rejected him]
but the thing is that... I like the senior more than I like the other guy. But Im not even sure if the senior still likes me, and even if he does.. i still couldnt make up my mind if I should go out with him. [i hav a over protective brother who is stoppin me from going out with him]

can someone please help me sort this out??
