Pointless, a weird poem... Options

I'm not sure what this kind of poetry is called... I did it once, a long time ago in school, and I thought I'd give it another try...



Sometimes it all just seems so pointless
Telling your heart something to change fate
But that's not the way it is or ever will be
There's an unchangeable plan; it's eating you alive
