Okay, my coding is all good. I'm using the right modules code I found, and I'm trying to insert a a video player inside of it to show videos on the right side of my xanga (that was redundant). Anyways, it doesn't load right. Is there something I can do to fix it? Here's the code:

Make sure you have a working movie URL first.
Check out this script: http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=88997 |

Okay...here's the code again.
I made sure it worked. There's supposed to be a media player there. The sound plays, but I don't get any video... go to my xanga (http://www.xanga.com/analyzing_Nny)to see what I mean. |

You use that code and then move it over to the right. Just a suggestion.

Forgive me for not knowing this, but how would I move it to the right? To the right of my entry?

not a problem: here is a script to make a module on the right side--
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=69083 It happens to support html. So insert a code like this: http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2854 into it |

the problem is still there. the video code and all that is fine. it is the right module code. it isn't allowing the video to play or anything. if you go to my site, i have the video playing (not in a module, so it is currently showing up at the bottom of the site). whenever it is placed inside the module, it quits working.
that module link you gave me was to the module code i already had in place. any suggestions? |

Yeah, how about using a div layer? Ever used one of those before?
It's like a custom module, except you can put anything in there that you want. Currently the one I used in the example is "invisible" meaning it has no background or borders. Position the div layer anywhere on the page that you want by adjusting the "margin-top" and the "margin-left" numbers. Ex: I inserted the video code in there already. |

last question and then i'll "play" with the things you have suggested. is there a way to get that div thing to go over the text instead of just pushing it away? if you could answer that, then i would be so greatful, and thank you for all your help.

Like in the center of the title? Lower the "margin-left" number in the div layer and position is that way.

Okay... first of all. Adjust your width in the div layer to be 400px and then paste your text BEFORE the </div>
Also add a <br> right before your font text stuff. That move the text below your div player. |
