You mean Greatest Common Factor?
Here, I'll give you an example: Find the GCF of 54 and 180 first, you break them down: 54: 2 * 3 * 3 * 3 180: 2 * 2 * 3 * 3 * 5 The GFC must contain each prime factor common ot the factorization of 54 and 180. And each orime must be repeated the minimim times it occurs in the two numbers. so it would be 2 * 3 * 3 = 18. D: |
