Hm... It's interesting.
If you were going for the surreal tone, I'd lose the pink font, thick border and the tape. Just the picture alone with the brushes would look a lot better. Besides that, you picked a great picture and I actually kinda like the blurry cartoonish look. Great job for your second!

 it is like totally awesome and yea i agree with yummy_delight i would lose the pink font... i think it would look cool without it too
