there is like something wrong with my type tool, it used to be normal. however, when i was using it today, everything i typed came out to be microscopic. and i checked the options and it`s not on superscript or anything. i tried to reset my type pool back to default but it`s still the same. it`s only visible when i make it like 1000pt. can someone please help ?

It may just be the font. You can't use OpenScript fonts, only TrueType. Yeah, and you need to set all the settings back to default - it should work then.

your not using the pencil tool are you, nevermind, your not dumb. are you zoomed in at 100% or below or high -- that maybe the reason, but fishcake-y should be right

Also you might want to check that the resolution is set to 72 pixels per inch.
