Theaters in Glendale, California can show horror films only on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.

In Idaho a citizen is forbidden by law to give another citizen a box of candy that weighs more than 50 pounds.

In Hartford Connecticut, it is illegal for a husband to kiss his wife on Sundays.

Talking on a cellular phone while driving is against the law in Israel.

It is illegal to marry the spouse of a grandparent in Maine, Maryland, South Carolina, and Washington, DC.

Where I live (Virginia Beach) It's illegal to have a woman on top during sex.

Oh, and you also have to wear a corset if you're walking down the street after sunset or you will be fined. rolleyes.gif

This one isn't that weird, at least not to me. In Hong Kong's it's illegal too, and it sounds reasonable, doesn't it? You get so distracted when you talk on the phone that it's hard to concentrate on the road.

I always wonder what happened for wierd laws to become. Maybe like for the "it is illegal to give someone candy thats more than 50 lbs" law, think of what could ahve happened for that law to be passed *lmao*
