Ok I want to make a menu where when you put your mouse over a word a menu hovers under it. If you look at my site you'll see I have one similar but its not really what I want because the hover goes over the words. I found an example but I dont know how to make one

Whoosh! Reili to the rescue! Nevermind. That was lame.
[ http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=74 ] [ http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/tabmouseover.htm ] I think you should use the DD one, that's the full source. |

It's not JavaScript--it's CSS. It uses the :hover pseudoclass to only display certain text when you hover over a specific part of the list. Quite clever and brilliant in its simplicity.

The second one.... You'll have to ask Heather, because it's right there in the source. She says not to mess with it. Something similar would be.... This, I guess.
[ http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/dropmenuindex.htm ] (Wow, that first one is really neat once I looked at it again...) |
