Hover Effects messed up!, >_< Options

Does anybody know a code to just make it glow when you hover a link and not make a box around it that the background shows..Just hover on to the text in my contact box to see what I mean

As it shows above, I have the code for the glow effect, and I was wondering if I need to put some kind of a code for the "link" part ...
