Ok, so school started long time ago and for sure you made some new friends. So, one of my new friend was so weird. She wasn't like that at the beginning, being crazy, bugging the boys in class and lunch time. So after I found out she is that unormal, I don't want to be her friend because I feel embarass around her. People think she's crazy so I'm suppose to be crazy too!
I want to get rid of her but meanwhile, I don't want to hurt her feeling. Can someone help me or give me some advise? Thanks ![]() |

Not everyone is perfect.
If you care so much about what others think of you, why don't you care about the fact that how sad your friend will be when she knows that you are calling her crazy behind her back? I don't think you can "get rid of her" (if that is how you call it) without hurting her feelings at all. |

I don't understand why no one in the relationship forum can write a decent paragraph.
Anyway, you can't be expected to act like your friends all the time. I doubt people actually think that. That would be dumb. Just...don't hang ariound her so much. When I decide I don't like one of my friends, I natuarally start acting like a suprior, pretentious bitch, so I wind up semi-unintentionally losing them with very little effort. If you can master the art of being nice but vaguely condesending, it's pretty easy to just wean yourself away from people. Without making myself seem like too horrible a person, the only advice i can really give is just to find other people to hang around with and it'll seem like a more natural, mutual break. |

That problem is happening to me...
But if you do not want to be embarassed anymore, then just call the friendship off. Not totally off, but just don't hang out with her as much. And if she starts to follow you, or go up and talk to you. Just simply say, "I don't want to talk to you now." Yeah, it's a bit harsh. But it'll get her off your back. |

QUOTE(OmG_iTz_KiMi @ Sep 29 2005, 6:32 AM) But, if you truly don't want to be her friend, I guess, sit down and talk to her about the situation. Tell her she's really loud, and sometimes "crazy". You guys can STILL be friends, just, improvise(sp?) your friendship or something. yes, you are right but I've told her stop being crazy and blah blah then she said fine. The next day, she just forgot about it. I almost told her everyday! She just dont listen to me. So then, I tried to avoid her, like not hanging around with her but she keeps following me. If I said something like Blue-Chan said, it might hurt her feelings. ![]() And, niez_cho, my friend admit that she IS crazy so she will not be hurt if I said to her "you're crazy" because I've tried so many times |

^ You can't exactly expect her to change overnight. It's a gradual process. Especially when it comes to sanity.
IMO, this girl just really needs a friend. |

Maybe shes going through a crazy time in her life and acting out is her way of salvation.
If you truly dont want to hurt her feelings, stay by her side. If you really dont want to be her friend, gradually just start straying away from her. I suggest the first option though. Try talking to her, see if there is a reason why she is acting so crazy |

I think she just wants to make new friends. Maybe you should introduce her to people. If she's a good friend TO YOU, then you shouldn't ditch her just because people think she's crazy; it's not worth it. But if you've given this a lot of thought and you're WILLING to lose her as a friend, then just stop talking to her. Actually, just talk to her about it and ask he why she's doing it.

It all comes down to who you want to be influenced by...what side do you think will affect your life in a positive way?
...I know you can think of the right answer |
