my parents are really overprotective and they blocked everything. aim, googletalk, everything. i really need to get on aim, do any of you programmers know how to get on? oh yeah the proxy sites are blocked too.

I'm sure all you people who "dont support" disobeying parents use aim as well. And it's just aim, so let it go.
You can try installing some other program that they never heard of or something. Even though aim express sucks, its worth a try. Try installing something new like msn messenger or yahoo messenger. Idk... whatever works for you |
