I was in love once. Her name was Polly... Polly Pocket. She was the cutest girl you had ever seen, even if a bit tiny. In fact, she's the reason I ran off to the Mall and joined the Toy Army, or Toy-my. We had been going steady all summer and I just knew she was the one. Sometime in mid September, I caught her with Mighty Max. I haven't spoken to her since. Not even to answer the letters she's sent me. That isn't to say I haven't wanted to. I've kept every one of them.
She still writes me to this day.  <sniffle> Stay strong, soldier. Love is just one of the battlefields we fight in.But yeah, 7 months. |
