ipod nano questions, please help* Options

okay well i am planning to buy a ipod nano; but its b/c my little sister has the 40gb white ipod but i just wanted something simple and plus i dont need that much space for songs. but my questions are:

1.what the heck are audiobooks?
-yes im a beginner at mp3 players-

2. what are podcasts (sp?) ?
--are they radio stations on ur ipod that you have dl? or what? because i thought that you had to get the fm radio thing to put on top of the ipod..but i doubt you can for a ipod nano

3.How do you get the pictures on to the ipod?

4.did anyone buy an ipod nano, is it good or not?

5. since i do share a computer with my sister whom has a ipod also, when i get mine..do i have to dl the ipod cd again? or can i just use the one thats already on the computer?

1. Audiobooks are like books on tape, but in the form of audio files you can play on a music player.

2. Podcasts are weekly scheduled broadcasts, kind of like radio shows but on the Internet, that can be listened to on an iPod.

3. You use iPhoto (on Mac OS X) or Adobe Photoshop Album (on Windows).

4. I don't have one, so I don't know, but I have heard good things about them from people who have bought them.

5. You should be able to use the software on her/your computer, but you may have to download some minor updates.

Are you sure about that? I have used, at last count, three different iPods under my Windows user account.

maybe they updated itunes. last time i read a how to for an ipod, it said the only easy wayto have mopre than one i pod (and separatelibrarys) was tohavemore than one user account and use that.)

If you want to have separate libraries, then you need separate accounts, but I thought that she and her sister probably already have separate accounts, or share music anyway.

i should be getting one soon, when i get one i will tell you how it is. Lol audiobooks are selfexplanitory.

So its true that you can use different ipods with the updated itunes? cause i remember i had the version before the new one and i couldnt use two ipods on one computer.

If you are able to use two ipods can you transfer and move songs from one computer to another or computer to ipod?

The nano screens are crap, they scratch and fade and break too easily.

There are some people who have had problems with them, but if you take care of your iPod, it won't be an issue.

UPDATE: A small percentage of customers had problems with the iPod Nano's screen, but Apple has said they will fix them for free. It is not a design issue, however, but a vendor quality control issue. [1]
