it took 16 minutes to render this, so i had to do something with it. i dont particularly like it, but its big, and id be very happy if someone used it as their desktop.

click for full size. and then fully maximize it.

i know its nothing like drnick's wallpapers, but whatever.

edit: picture actually shows up.

most of it was in terragen.. though their definitely was a LOT of postwork on this one. obviously the birds. then getting the birds to look like they were getting hit by the sun. but most of the reflections were already there. i made my own atmosphere settings this time, instead of using a preset, so maybe thats why? huh.gif

^ I agree! I love how it's dark and the water/ocean is so bright, as well as the sky. It makes the viewer focus on the sky and water, so it definitely stands out.

16 minutes only?! Wow... I hope to someday be able to do that haha. :P Awesome. :]

Um, she said the render took sixteen minutes, which means it took sixteen minutes for the program (in this case, Terragen) to stitch together the image, not sixteen minutes to just create the image etc.

Yeah, I haven't used a preset since my first one, but still, I haven't gotten an atmosphere that nice yet. Wow wow wow.
