Ah, a classic jazz musician. I actually do not listen to him a whole lot, but I can definitely respect the impact he had on jazz music.

Wow, finally, a Jazz Topic, I absolutely love his work. I have one of his CDs "Kind of Blue". One my of favorites is "Blue and Green". Charlie Parker is another favorite of mine. He is probably THE saxophonist of all time. His recording of Cottontail is just crazy....

Blue In Green off of Kind of Blue is my favorite song of all time. In A Silent Way comes in a close second. I just picked up Miles Ahead and I'm pretty impressed. Classy.

I've heard of him but after viewing this thread I was inspired to listen to some of his works. So far on his website I have heard two of his songs( Human Nature and The Doo Bop Song) and I think they are remarkable and impressive.
I might consider buying one of his CDs, anyway he reminds me of Kenny G for some strange reason. |
