can't put layout on myspace

I totallly love all these layout that y'all make. I'm planning to make some of my own. But my problem is..."I CAN'T PUT ANY LAYOUT ONTO MY SPACE!" Someone tell me how...it said to paste the code on the "About me" but I tried and it didn't work. help here please!!!!!!!??????????????

do you have the style tags? check and see if the first one is at the top and the second is at the end of your layout...
