My first try at div layout help pls or advice, Comments Options

Well yea I sat down and read around the internet. I figured out how to get most of it how I wanted so far but here are some things that have just been giving me a headache.

- how do I get rid of the space b/w my friends its liek 3 (big space) then 1

-is it possible to put the comment box beside my friends and have the comments on the bottom how they are but centered inside of a scrollbar type thing.

The idea I basically wanted was like huge table set up like this

*EDIT, okay comment box is spose to be to right and frieneds to left
