Okay. I put so much effort into this that it scares me. Let me remind you of something before you say it's oddly colored... It's not a real-life person. I can give an anime character pink-orange hair and that's perfectly fine. It looked better than the blonde and brown looked silly too. I spent nearly an hour on her dress, changing the color &zooming in more to fix the little mistakes... Okay yeah. But I'd really like feedback.

I'm glad the colors are okay. I kept on switing them to different colors... &it looks ugly when I resize it. =S Blah. I think I need to go save it as a .JPG file later. I hardly ever resize anything though, it doesn't show off the detail work. Because I love doing detail work.
&yeah. Call me Reili... Thank you though. |

Reili! It's so awesome!!! All the work you put in definitely paid off. Did you color the background too? If you did, I'm very very impressed.
One thing I did notice was that the spokes at the top of her umbrella are that purpley/mauvey color while the long spoke-y thingy is silver. I would've made the spokes silver. BUT IT'S STILL AWESOME!!! |

It's because my umbrella is like that. ^^U The spokes at the top are plastic, so they're a different color. Oh. I did color a section I wasn't supposed to though. I'll go fix that before I submit it. =X &yeah. I almost didn't do the background... It took an extra twenty minutes because the sky just didn't look right.
A tutorial wouldn't help really, just thought I'd let you know. It's not like I have anything different from other people... In fact, I have less. I just zoom in a lot& go fairly pixel by pixel. Which is why it tends to take me so long... You hardly ever use brushes over 64 pixels for the main subjects. For large portions of the background, you can use the rectangular marquee tool to help it go by faster... &for the dress, the reason why it took so long is because it's set to darken. It's really just a bright pink color all over the darker parts and a lighter pink color all over the lighter parts. Play with layer colors is what I do differently I guess. ---- Wow. Long ramble. XD |

Beautifully done. I'm not sure if that's how the character was drawn or originally colored, but her face is a touch blotchy (if that makes sense). It could be my monitor though.

AHH!
Reili I love it much; colors are awesome. Wow the hair must've took a long time to do since she has many strands. The hair strand near the end of the silver part of the umbreall just some of it is not within the line, but whatever. I still like it. |
