If you don't know, you should. If you haven't seen it yet, you have to. During the Writer's Strike, TV master ("my master now") Joss Whedon made a mini-series musical called "Dr. Horribles Sing-Along Blog." It just recently premiered online and will only be up (in its entirety) for free for two days (starting now, 7/19/2008). If you love Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Music, Romance, Neil-Patrick Harris, Life, or whatever... you just have to see this.

I'm working on my terrible death whinny.

Also, unsure about the spelling of whinnie? Whinny? Winnie?

Ah well. Evil spelling.

I actually contributed and gave them my 3.99, I love the cult series, and I can't wait for Whedon to make more, after he realizes how successful they truly were.

NPH ftw.

Oh, and for the record, I had missed Felicia Day.

She was my second favourite potential.

I watched it, and was quite impressed. I'd like to watch it again, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it starts popping up elsewhere on the internet.

I blogged on Dr. Horrible:
Horribleness, Getting the Girl,
Anarchy, and the
Greek Tragedy.

QUOTE
Just as Buffy inverted and played on the ceremonies of the Horror genre, Dr. Horrible subverts the super hero world. There is a perfect sense of anguish and irony that serves as an undercurrent throughout all three acts of Dr. Horrible, arguably resurfacing from the sort of dubious way many of us, as children, must have viewed super heroes.

QUOTE
What Dr. Horrible is, after a confused, love sick, and angst ridden young man (Billy), is an anarchist, and that the anarchist is our hero speaks volumes to the subversive elements present in Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. Captain Hammer "corporate tool" is a destructive, militaristic entity; he is careless, moronic, yet well-liked and exceedingly powerful. I mean to posit that Captain Hammer is democracy, corporate interest democracy and Dr. Horrible is freedom, anarchy (sensitive, confused, impractical, vilified).

It was on youtube a couple of days ago, although I'm not sure if it's still there.

I just saw this today and I can't believe I haven't seen this sooner.

So excellent.

Joss Whedon is god, NPH is awesome, and Felicia Day is love.
