Id' just like to add sometihng:
-eating healthy works awesome, and I know you alreayd said that but I jsut wanna say that chocolate in particular gives me pimples. I know it sounds like a myth, but it happens to my dad too, aroudn christmas and easter when I eat ALOT of chocolate I really notice the pimples come, ti could be jsut because chocolate has alot of calories and fat but I really think it has soemtihng to do with whats in the chocolate itself because I don't nocite alot of pimples when I'm jsut pigging out on mcdonalds or something. anyways, awesome tips |

QUOTE(tchotchke @ Apr 24 2005, 12:57 AM) - I believe you're suppoesd to use salicylic acid in the morning, and benzoyl peroxide at night. But I'm sure it doesn't matter if you don't apply it in that order. You are correct! I know this is a womans locker but i was scrollin around to burn some time and im also prescribed these medications by my family doctor to reduce the breakouts. Damn i really dont care that much cause drinking lots of fluids can help just as much to hydrate your body. (Hydrating your body also helps reduce zits) So chug it all up! |

mmmm... that steam bath sounds so good. I can't wait to try it.
I still don't know what to do exactly about my oily skin, but since the breakouts went away when I left it alone... I'm hoping the oil will too. |

omg i hate pimples........i use to get them so bad when i was in highschool.....but i started using this stuff called proactive......it works pretty well and like it doesn't really make my skin dry or anything.........since i've been using it.....i haven't had much trouble with those nasty buggers! but i've tried tons of stuff.......someone once told me to put a little bit of toothpaste on them and they will like dry out and the pimple will go away...........i think thats an urban myth cuz it didn't work for me!

pimples are the worst... i usually pop my on purpose or by accident( my face towel scratches/pops the pimples)... I use Clearasil and Olay Face Cleanser thing... I don't have that many pimples. My brother on the other hand has acne; it's really gross... My aunt is getting him Proactive thingy... But even though I don't have that many pimples, my face is all dry... Then again, I haven't been using the Clearasil or Olay... hehe

years ago i saw on tv that you should take qtips and use those to pop your zits. i think i may have done it like once or twice. idk, i'd rather just leave them be because everytime i've gone to pop them they look way worse then before i messed with them.

This is really great. One tip: If you are willing to splurge, make an appointment at a Clinique counter.....If will help so much. The Clinique lady will give you a total make over, tell you how to take care of your slin, what skin type you are, and all that good stuff. She'll tell you what kind of facial things you need too. My package cost me about $35 dollars, and it works GREAT!!!

Hey Witchhazel also works. Its works quickly depending on how much you use. Also though be fore warned that using it in excess can dry out your skin. you should be able to get witchazel in the section you would normally find rubbing alcohol and peroxide. Believe me it really does work, just be sure to mosturize after your done messing with the witchhazel. Its a natural astringent which is great.!!!!!

QUOTE(01b4byy @ Apr 25 2005, 7:26 PM) You can use Rubbing Alcohol also. I tried it.. it doesnt like.. make ur pimple go away.. buh it makes it go away faster in combination with whatever product you use. Just use a q-tip or cotton ball.. and put it in rubbing alcohol.. and lik jus place it on ur pimple. I use rubbing alcohol too; it works pretty well. The smell is awful...>_<. |

Also guys, if you have serious acne, then go get it checked out by a doctor cause they can give you medication to fix it. I did before it was too late and now mines going away, but i know people that hvaent and their faces are scarred for life. Acne is an actual disease in your system and medication can get rid of it.
Monkeys ate my mastercard. Ill give you a goddamned priceless moment! |

Wow! That was really helpful! Haha. Looks like *SOMEONE* has a lot of spare time. *cough cough* Heehee. Yeah, the oil in your skin is supposed to keep your face 'moisturised' (sp??) and when you take the oil out, the oil glands just make more and more oil, so it's really bad. I feel so smart.
Good job. ^.^ |
