f*ck the spurs Both of my teams did very well in this draft week. First the nets: Not only did they get out from that horrid VC contract, but now they get the chance to let these young guys develop and play together with summer '10 coming up. They did very good on draft night, although I would have liked to have seen gerald. The Spurs: A++++++ If anybody in cbc was watching the draft with me, I was irate at all the teams passing up blair. That is of course until he went to the spurs! The spurs starting lineup can compete with ANY TEAM day in and day out! |

I've heard :[ Not going to lie though, I'd love to develop a team that didn't depend on yao ming nor tracy mcgrady. Both great players, yao better for the team, but I think if we got two players to replace them that didn't always break, we'd be better off.

if nets move to brooklyn, chances of them getting lebron is higher than NY imo. they got the salary cap space to sign two max players in 2010, and they also have a better supporting for lebron than NY. they got a nice developing courtney lee, and lopez. with devin harris as the point. put lebron, and another all-star they can sign in 2010 as well, and we are looking at a championship contender for the Nets.
