Usually when I'm designing a site I keep anti-aliasing turned off for blocks of text. I figure if I can make it look good like that, then it will look good in a browser. But I've been working on something that uses a LOT of text, and it's making my eyes bleed with no anti-aliasing. So I tried all four variations that Adobe offers, in Photoshop, Fireworks, and in Illustrator. They all look worse than with anti-aliasing turned off.

Is there any plugin filter for Photoshop that can actually simulate small text in a browser? It's starting to get on my nerves. "Crisp" is anything but crisp. :\
