I really love it. The colors are wonderful and I love the simplicity. I personally prefer things centered, but that's my only criticism. :)

^ I agree, I would like it centered, but that would be my only criticism. I love the Asian feel and the Chinese characters.

I like the layout. But I would just like to say that no body is going to pay over $40 for a myspace layout... And if they do, they should learn to spend their money better.

I like it, except for the fact that if someone isn't use a wider screen they will see the music player. Also, in my browser the navigation towards the bottom (home, message, add, etc.) isn't transparent, it has a light grey background.

I don't see a problem with charging $40 for a layout, as long as you put decent effort into it and it's unique in some way.
Just because it's hosted by the shitehouse that is myspace doesn't mean it's not graphic/web design. |

I like the layout. But I would just like to say that no body is going to pay over $40 for a myspace layout... And if they do, they should learn to spend their money better. no one at all? my agent is giving me clients that pay well over $100 for a myspace layout. there are bands, comedians & film makers who don't have the time to make anything for their myspace profile, but they need it for promotion. not to mention coding a myspace layout to look right takes more work than coding a regular website to look right. back on topic though, i do love the colors of your layout. and like everyone else said, it would look nicer if it were centered. also, i have the little beef of scroll bars - i hate scroll bars =/ |

It's not a bad layout, though as you're going pro your grammar should be more accurate than it is!

You still need to center this.
Personally I think it could benefit from rollovers and possibly a banner of some sort, once it's centered. |

I don't really like the background within the image, how you continued it into that. Also I think you should center it for all resolutions.
Other than that, its really simple and doesn't look bad at all. QUOTE I like the layout. But I would just like to say that no body is going to pay over $40 for a myspace layout... And if they do, they should learn to spend their money better. Well yea your not going to find many people wanting a layout for their personal myspace and willing to pay that much. But think about the bands and comedians that need a layout. They'll pay good money and I've had plenty of clients in the past that payed well over $100 for a custom myspace layout. |
