the good life is whatever you want it to be. its finding a belief that fits you, its achieving your goals.. its being hurt so that you know what true happiness is.. and its finding true love...

QUOTE well you only have one, so it's the best one you'll have, so who cares how good it is? That's an extremely cynical view.. BECAUSE you have onli one life, shouldnt you try to make it as good as possible? |

QUOTE being happy.. not wanting / needing anything but happiness Everyone seems to be saying happiness.. but if you're in a constant state of happiness.. and know nothing else.. wouldnt it be somewhat boring.. I mean, you need the sad things in life to realli appreciate the happy moments .. |

Personally, I think a good life is when you have all the emotions..
Being sad, being happy, being excited, being anxious, being nervous, being depressed, being neutral, being loved, loving others.. Somehow, I think that if you feel most of those emotions, you have a pretty good life. You need sadness.. then happyness usually comes around.. and that's good. Sometimes depression is good, too.. in a sense. You get a good time to really think about things.. I don't know, maybe I'm just crazy.. but I think you need to feel all sorts of emotions in order to have a good life.. |

BECAUSE you have onli one life, shouldnt you try to make it as good as possible? yea you should make it as good as possivble, but you'll never have another life to compare it to. people are always like "my lief is so bad. blah blah blah" but it's the only one they have so they might a well make the best of it and stop worrying about how good or bad it is. |

I mean, you need the sad things in life to realli appreciate the happy moments .. I automatically thought being happy would mean being able to work out the kinks to your sadness. Meaning, you have sadness and all those other emotions, but in the end, your happiness overwhelms everything else. Happiness=love=satisfaction=success=all the "good" things in life. |

Experience leads to wisdom.. and wisdom leads to.. everything, really. If you're wise and smart.. you sometimes have the better end of the deal.. |
