I have a hostee that deleted the /wp/ off of something and no longer can login.
When you click the log in button, it redirects to http://subdomain.domain.co.cc/wp-login.php instead of http://subdomain.domain.co.cc/wp/wp-login.php. any ideas how to fix this? |

reinstalling the software would probably be easier than trying to fix a wordpress issue.
Although there is a 80% chance this wont work, try installing the portions that you deleted with new wordpress files |

^ If your hostee is totally unable to get into his/her Wordpress admin and completely reinstalls the program, yes. If your hostee backed up the entries before the problem happened, he/she can import them once Wordpress is reinstalled. I usually make it a habit to back up every week, just in case.

He/she needs to go into your MySQL admin software and manually change the redirect. I don't know what table it's in, but that's how I had to fix it with a wordpress install. This, most of the time can be done using phpMyAdmin.
If you know how to edit MySQL tables, it's very simple to fix. If you don't know how, just reinstall the software. |
