The rockets should not have gotten within 6 points of the trailblazers. The rockets are horrible this season.

i bet james was happy seeing a glimmer of hope in the knicks last night even though they lost, sounds like they had a hell of a 4th quarter.

141-127, when i saw the score this morning i was like wtf

I'm happy with Trevor Ariza, right now, lol. I wasn't the Rockets to do very well this season, but Aaron Brooks and Trevor Ariza make a kickass combo.

Man the Knicks are really testing my patience as a fan. A shitty team for too long. TOO LONG. Though it could be worse, they could be the Nets, but when I see shit like Nate Robinson shooting into the wrong basket, Duhon dribbling the ball of his foot, everyone chucking up contested jumpers... f*ck.

I wish we drafted Jennings.

  • happy iverson is back in philly
  • happy nets finally won one
  • happy they fired frank
  • too bad about greg oden being out
  • the more i watch the more i feel like deron williams > chris paul
  • speaking of new orleans i thought firing byron was a bad idea
  • cavs are still overrated imo, i don't really think they are that much of a contender in the east
  • spurs are still the most boring team ever to watch
  • brandon jennings hype is fizzling out the further we go, i wouldn't favor him for rookie of the year probably
  • bulls are looking pretty pitiful...
and more this thread needs to pick up activity stubborn.gif

I am glad that we won as well
Spurs = best fundamental team around
Cavs = have always been overrated since that finals run few years back
Deron doesn't get the respect he deserves
Are we ready to call Oden a bust yet?

dude was averaging 10/9/2.3 blocks in only 23 minutes. i would hardly call him a bust. a bust is kwame brown. greg oden just has been unlucky and injury prone and have not been given the chance to show his full potential and grow. kwame brown on the other hand has been playing injury free and given so many opportunities to get better, but he doesn't which is why he is labeled a bust just like darko milicic.

darko and kwame are gigantic busts i agree. but imo history will view oden as a sam bowie cause we all know number two was vastly better player over all.

well we can't judge who will have a better career just yet. kevin durant or greg oden. obviously durant has a headstart. but we can only judge 5 years from now.

lmao how sad is this cavs game right now. they're losing, in Cleavland, to an injured team who has like 9 dudes total right now. this is ridiculous. cavs are a shitty team. lebron is a good player. and that's exactly why they aren't gonna be a contender in the east this year.

there's no way i see lebron staying here

@ javonn: are spurs your main team now? or just to hold you over until the day the nets stop completely sucking

oh yeah and i already can't wait for christmas day, the game lineup that day is gonna be so fun to watch. cavs vs lakers and orlando vs boston

it's gonna be interesting to see what happens to the spurs down the road. they're sorta an old team, regardless of adding jefferson. spurs have been such a staple for so long with basically the same core guys, namely dunca, but parker and manu too, it's hard to picture when that ends. has anyone been more consistent this decade than the spurs? i believe they've made the playoffs every single year for the last ten years. i've forgotten what it's like to not think of them as a contender.

kobe doesn't use his hand to shoot, he's a jedi and force pushes the ball into the basket. so a broken finger doesn't really matter

moment of silence for james though, his knicks had to lose on christmas day. they could have at least won for him on christmas.

speaking of lebron, damn, handed the lakers their ass today, but i changed my mind, lakers taking it all, and yes i realize the irony talking about the lakers losing yet im choosing them for NBA champs

i think kobe, iverson, etc have averaged in the thirties in shots per game.

oh word jc I was watching that game last night magic had it won too, except when they were stuck at 68pts and tried like what 6 times to shoot a freakin 3? I don't like rashards jumper either. Then farmar came in with that 3 and then the 3 point play then shannon brown stepped along also. With Kobe shooting horrible that night Magic should have had that. I love Vince Carter but Hedo Turkoglu imo was an important role for the magic, I haven't seen VC contribute well as he did in his Torronto Days and NJ days. But we will see.

True words bro I agree with you 100% I don't know where to comment on your tumblr haha so I'll comment it here. When Dwight made those 2 jumpers off the glass that was really surprising for me I didn't know he could do that, and that IMO would make him such a versatile player who can play the post and mid/close range spot. Almost like tim duncan. I think some of the players who have great moves in the post is rockets Luis Scola reminds me of olajuwon in a way when he works the post. Pau Gasol I think also has good post moves and with Dwight's foot work, plus improved post moves and a work at his jumper + free throws. He would be a beast of a center and amongst one of the best.

i see atlanta fired their coach today. i don't really get why. he has improved their record every single year. i don't think their loss has anything to do with him. they just played shitty in the playoffs, presumably becasue they are a semi young/inexperienced team.

on the other hand i hope the cavs fire. actually no i don't really care what they do. they can keep him because i think he's sucky. he never makes adjustments in games. if i liked the team though i would say they should fire him and get someone better if possible. at least if they want to bring lebron back. makes no sense to break same squad + same coach back.

I don't really care if LeBron goes to the knicks or not. He's an obnoxious crybaby who only cares about his ego. I'd rather the knicks assemble a group of players to beat whatever team he's on. But if he comes, I'd get a James jersey so that people would know my name.

also, lol crabs

also, go magic

that's how i feel. not about the knicks but about my other two teams who's names keep coming up, bulls and nets. i don't want lebron there because i actually am looking forward to the bulls future and i think he will ruin it. he already showed that he is alright with just giving up. i don't want that shit. bring me wade

NOPE. he thinks he's all that by talking to himself and hitting his head and screaming at davis and making him cry. i dislike pierce the most though.

since we're dissing pierce, why can't he shave? he has the worst facial hair of anyone. it's just like random patchy shit on the sides of his jaw connected to nothing.

LOL i know! wtf.

my brother and i were just "yelling" at each other on the phone because he's going for the celtics and he loves pierce. i loved how he reacted to being pushed down, like he was going to go after dwight or something. YEAH RIGHT, dwight would eat him for breakfast :)

i know, it's going to be a big hit for them, even though they will still get someone good with third. it's going to be less leverage now though because they can't tell all the free agents how they are going to have john wall.

this sucks. carter can't get hurt, because carter is a little baby. he rarely gets hurt and shakes it off and plays through it.

well, going back to boston isn't as bad as it usually is when you think of going on the road. boston has been notoriously bad at home this year, they've played better on the road. let's hope it stays that way.

Yeah I hope it does. I really hope this goes at least 6.

I am pissed NJ didn't get the pick tonight!

Wall and Harris together would have been scary

I think that they still have a chance though, as this draft is insanely deep.
