Prisoner of Azkaban is my total favorite. Goblet of Fire is a close second.

Believe it or not, I have only read the first one. I have never read the second one but the movie makes it more understandable. I know I won't be able to read the third one because there is already a movie out on it. The fourth and fifth ones I will probably never know because without the previous storylines, the fourth and fifth ones will be like some kind of gibberish!

I second the vote for the fourth one. In my opinion, her writing gets better and better with every book. I think i heard she was going to go back and re-write them to make the first ones better, actually

I wish, but I was subjected to the first 2 books in the series before I came to the conclusion that it's not worth reading even though there was a lot of hype surrounding it. |

3rd and fifth books were the best. although it's kinda ironic that those books were when we first meet sirius and when he dies.
